A fire, a room, and dinner

Everything comes off one wood-fired grill. The menu changes when the growers change it, the wine list is short on purpose, and nobody will rush you out for the second seating.

Walk-ins

Always, at the bar

The room

Thirty-four seats, one fire, and a pass you can see from every one of them

We took the wall out between the kitchen and the room in 2019 and have never regretted it. The grill is the loudest thing in here and the second loudest is the conversation.

There is no dress code and no tasting menu. There is a bar you can eat at without booking, a corner table worth asking for, and a playlist that stops being polite at about nine.
